Dr Amy Smith is a Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Counselling Psychologist and Chartered Psychologist. Amy has over 15 years experience working in the field of mental health. Qualifying as a Counselling Psychologist in 2017, Amy has experience working in a multitude of NHS services including pain management, fatigue services, community mental health teams, and eating disorder services. Amy has been working in private practice for the last five years.
Amy is an integrative therapist, and has training and experience in a range of therapy models and draws upon these in her therapeutic work. Amy is trained to high levels in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Therapy (ST).

Amy can help adults seeking support with a wide range of difficulties including chronic pain, chronic fatigue, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, work stress and low self esteem.
